3engines LLC (“3engines,” “we,” “us”) builds AI-optimized websites for local businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it straightforward.

What we collect

When you use our site, request an audit, or become a client, we may collect:

• Your mobile number, if you sign up for lead alerts by text
• Your website URL (for auditing)
• Your business type and what you’re looking for
• Messages you send through our AI chat agent
• Basic site analytics (page visits, referral source) via Plausible Analytics — no cookies, no personal tracking

How we use it

• To run your free AI visibility audit and send you the results
• To provide the services you’ve signed up for (website design, AI optimization, chat agents)
• To send you your report link, service updates, and account communications
• To improve our audit engine and services
• We do not sell your information. Period.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate. Each has their own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare — Hosting, DNS, and edge delivery for all sites
• Anthropic (Claude) — Powers our AI chat agents and audit analysis
• Resend — Sends transactional emails (audit reports, sign-in links)
• Twilio — Delivers text messages for lead alerts, using your mobile number only to deliver them
• Plausible Analytics — Privacy-first site analytics (no cookies, no personal data)

Cookies

Our marketing site (3engines.com) does not use cookies. Our dashboard (orbit.3engines.com) stores a session token in your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in — this is not a cookie and is not shared with any third party.

Data retention

We keep your audit data and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days in case you change your mind, then delete it. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Text messages

If you sign up for 3engines Lead Alerts at 3engines.com/lead-alerts, we collect your mobile number and use it only to text you when a new inquiry arrives through your own business’s website, and to deliver your replies to that customer. Message frequency varies with the number of inquiries. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Our messaging provider, Twilio, processes your mobile number only to deliver the texts you signed up for.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can:

• Request a copy of the data we have about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your data
• Opt out of any communications
• Close your account at any time

If you’re in California (CCPA) or the EU (GDPR), you have additional rights under those laws. We honor all of them. Just email us.
